The mermaid

Let’s all stare ’til death
Walk out of our open doors
And never, ever look back
Until we fall off our senses
and only stop by the end of the main road
Where the waves crash magnificently
Let us all throw our exhausted bodies at sea
To drown with splendor and grace.
Watch our lungs gasping desperately for air
but only finding the cold, salty water
Taste it
Embrace the sweet sensation of your final tragedy
Maybe then
When our pale hands float motionlessly
Submerged in the turquoise drops of the deep ocean
She may appear, at last
The enchanted voice will sing
And both the heavenly and diabolic curse
will ressurect our senses
we will finally be forever hers
No effort or emotion ever needed again.
No more struggle for sense or reason.
The mermaid awaits us.
