The other side
Today in Brazil we celebrate the day of the dead… Time to remember the loved ones that left us earlier than we wish they did. Time of longing. I miss my dad and my brother. They crossed over to the other side and they are missed every day since. They are pure positive energy now and I´m sure they are well. It´s this side of the bridge that is less perfect… But we go on and try to make it lighter, colorful. Who do you miss?

Cow-sy Home
I know I´ll miss her! It´s a lot of work, no doubt about that, but it´s also really cousy to paint her. I´ll definetely miss it!
How about you? Is there something you really miss doing?
Half way there…
I painted for almost 11 hours today! My eyes, hand and arm need some rest… and yet, my heart and soul ask for more!
It´s been so much fun to paint this sculpture! Besides all the daily adversities, life always offers fantastic (and perhaps disguised) presents.
We have to keep an open heart to recognize them… They may look simple or meaningless, but they are definetely up-lifting!
I´m grateful for the gift of painting!

One can never regret being truthfull. Sometimes life seems unfair and it looks like the liers will get away with it…
But no. Time is wise and love, success and happyness is the ultimate destination for those with truth and loyalty at heart.
Art is not yet providing the bread, but it will. Art is saving me. But who´s gonna save you from your own lies?
